She was supervised by Hjördís Sigurðardóttir, a food scientist and an urban planner and the CEO of ALDIN Biodome, and Jón Þórir Guðmundsson, a horticulturist with expertise in fruit growing. Co-supervisors were Unnar Víðisson and Heimir Hjartarson, engineers at EFLA engineering office.

Hjördís states: “When passion, talents and diligence come together,  good things happen. Outstanding job, Karen!”

Karen is also one of ALDIN Biodome team members as Horticulture Technician.
